Amber is a natural “dot connector” with more than 25 years of experience bringing people, ideas, and organizations together to create meaningful impact. Her background spans community engagement, nonprofit leadership, fundraising, and large-scale event strategy, with a focus on turning vision into thriving initiatives.

In addition to expanding community advocacy at The University of Texas at Arlington, Amber led the Maverick Speakers Series, bringing nationally recognized voices—including Anderson Cooper, Cal Ripken Jr., Seth Meyers, and Jeb Bush—to campus. The series created a platform for meaningful dialogue around the ideas, challenges, and people shaping our world. She later served as Vice President of Development and Community Relations for the North Texas Commission, where she convened regional leaders to address complex challenges and unlock new opportunities across the region.

Whether it’s been working as Director of Development with the Friends of the Levitt Pavilion to bring music under the stars to the community, helping United Way of Tarrant County set the stage for their second century of impact, or serving as Director of Strategic Initiatives and Community Relations for the National Medal of Honor Museum to advance their mission of inspiring America, Amber has a unique ability to bring big ideas to life, connecting vision with execution in ways that resonate and leave long-lasting impressions.
With a strong passion for serving her community, Amber has also been deeply committed to empowering the next generation of leaders. For the past three years, she has served as Director of the award-winning Plano Mayor’s Summer Internship Program, a citywide public-private partnership to provide high school students with professional skills, leadership experience, career exposure, and pathways for success.

Outside of work, Amber is a creative at heart who loves traveling with her family, baking, crafting, and binge-watching a new show while cuddled up with her Chihuahuas.
